Goodness, we now return to our regularly scheduled programming.

It’s a long story.  Back tonight and tomorrow.  Some retro fun, a mind-blowing giveaway worth thousands to the lucky winner (psst – it has to do with that new ring you sport so chicly!) and some thoughts on trends.

We didn’t mean to be away so long, we hope our lovely readers won’t make us feel wrong.  So sit right back, have a glass of Champagne – we promise we’re back in the style game.

Cheers, F4 Fam of Femmes.

Wedding Wednesday. Feast your eyes on the wedding of Harper’s Bazaar’s own Joanna Hillman.

Every once in a while, an extraordinary wedding crosses the blogosphere (that we did not do).  Joanna, Market Editor of Harper’s Bazaar, married Aram Green earlier this month in New York City.  And oh, what a gorgeous, intimate wedding to gaze at.  So much to absorb and love.

Click through the slideshow here and marvel over the vintage Rochas gown right from the big fashion closet at Bazaar, the Fred Leighton jewels, the handwritten invitations by Allyson Bainbridge Riccardi (her email address is right there, ladies!)  the always wonderful Greenwich Hotel, the gorgeous Italian menu courtesy of Locanda Verde, the statement bracelets (which you know we love), the coral peonies from Flowers 298, Ltd., the photos by our friend Michael Rochas of our other friend Christian Oth’s studio, the hair byFrederic Fekkai, the after party at the Smyth Hotel, the after party dress by Dolce and Gabbana but, most of all, the obvious happiness and love shared between Joanna and Aram.

What part of this wedding did you enjoy the most?

Happy Wedding Wednesday – and a programming note.

Before we begin #WW with 3 blog post and a great big virtual hug to some of our favorite vendors, please don’t forget to comment on the YouTube story, as we’ll close the giveaway Friday for the $25 gift card.  Next week, we have another really wonderful giveaway, so share this blog with your friends – tweet it, FB it, comment aaaanndddd….we’ll see you all back here this afternoon for Wedding Wonders.   Our first post will be the best, newest, most thoughtful and gorgeous bridesmaids gifts that you probably have not thought of!

Now, off to my weekly tennis game.  I say that lightly, as I rather suck. We leave you with this photo of the most insanely beautiful peonies, courtesy of 1313 Photography.

Does it get any better?

As an event planner, I am exposed to the most luxurious and wonderful flowers the world has to offer.  My favorites are ranunculus, all manner of orchids, Juliet roses, anemones and chocolate cosmos.  I also love to decorate parties with grasses, fruits, branches and vegetables.  But at the end of the day…..

Aaaaahhhhh.  There, now that’s better!  Peonies cure all that ails one!
