Calling all brides and party people! Nail lacquer alert!

Each summer, I trade in my trademark “Angel Food” or “Bubble Bath” manicure and red pedicure for crazy brights and pastels and shimmer.  I am a fan of Essie, Chanel and Butter London nail lacquers, so here is what I’ll be wearing this summer.

For toes, Essie’s “Braziliant”(bottom left) – bright corally orange with a touch of shimmer.  For hands, Chanel’s “Mimosa” (middle), a ridiculously adorable yellow with golden shimmer that looks great with a tan.  Also, Butter London’s “Sugar Daddy” (top), a milky pink that I am obsessed with and wore in Boston to accept an award recently.  My favorite, though?  Essie’s “Lilacism” (bottom right), a gorgeous pale lilac.

If you want to go au naturel, do trim, file and buff.  I like the Revlon “Crazy Shine” buffer.  Three swipes and your natural nails literally gleam.  Try dipping your digits in lemon juice beforehand for super white tips!  But above all, make sure those paws and claws and groomed and done!  Nothing says “gorgeous” like a mani/pedi!
